The word centrifugal means European Union was formed to unite countries that had been torn apart by of years of war.The word centripegal forces means.And unite them ,are called centripecal force the force that divide things.A commo market is for steel and coal producion.Supernational cooperation means to work toward shared goals.
One of the force is that divide things together.The other forces is that divide things together.Another force is to move them awey frrom another are calle cantrifugal.the other one is centripetal.Last one is the unite coutries that had been torn into apart by years in the war.

CentriFUGAL means to divide. CentriPETAL means to unite. A Common market can be for all products not just steel and coal.
Francys, you need to giv examples like culture and currency (Euro). The last paragraph is about if you think that the European Union can succeed. IS it going to keep working? Why or why not? I will give you more hints in class tomorrow.

The common market is a group of countries witch act like a single market, without trade barriers between member countries. The supranational cooperation is a group of countries that give up some power to work together and achieve goals. Witch is the best way to gain respect and make a better force of Europe so they could not be defeated.
For example the EU is centripetal because it is a group of countries witch is united. But Iceland and Ireland are centrifugal because instead of being united they are divided by the EU. Centrifugal is a form of not working together and thinking as an independent. Centripetal is a form of working together and having for strength and working in groups. But the EU has grown for his starting point and is trying to make war no more.
I think that the EU will at least last 50 years if they try hard to maintain it. If they don’t think about it and find new ways to keep people in the group it will vanish. But if they add new activities and do stuff to keep the EU in good shape every body love to stay in it. If they don’t care about the EU and just let people do what they want there is going to be a world war three because nobody will have a good control over Europe then Europe will no longer be at will and people would say “ Europe who” so they should keep it with a good maintenance

Some of them don't even use the same money and don't have the same economi.

Some examples of the centripetal forces in the European union are that the E. U brings people together and the E. U brings peace.
I think that is possible to the E . U to bring peace an all those things because that’s why they make the E .U for not having any more destructions and have more peace. That’s why I think is possible for the E. U

Some centrifugal and centripetal forces in the EU are. One centrifugal forces is that there to many languages and only one religion that making them a part because you will need to speak more than 25 languages and that is hard speak 25 languages, to get a job you need to speak more then 5 languages, one religion is no good because some people may not have that religion and they may not like the idea, that is dividing them. One centripetal is that they are a common market therefore they buy and sell together and that is making them more together.
I think the EU will success in maintaining peace in the EU about 20 years more, they need to think about a way to maintain peace if they don’t do it fast the EU is going to vanish, they will need to do more staff to keep the people in the EU, like more than one religion and to get a job you will not need to speak more than 25 languages, if better that they only need to speak 5 or least, and that may help a little.

Jean you are right that religion, tradition and diverse languages create centrifugal forces. But there are more than just one religion in the European Union. Also, pay attention to the definitions that you gave for centripetal and centrifugal (they were the same).
