1. I believe that the greatest ancient Hebrew leader was Moses. Because Moses led the Hebrews out slavery in Egypt, Moses led the Hebrews out of Egypt. According to the Torah. Moses also carved the Ten Commandments, One of Ten commandments said to set aside a day for praying, this is called Sabbath. Moses made the Hebrews belief that there’s been one god, Moses made them Monotheism.

2. The video was about Moses and the Hebrews as salves, and the pharaoh. The story started talking about how the pharaoh was afraid of the Hebrews that they were going to rise up and attack the palace and his army. So the pharaoh sends his army to kill a son of and Hebrew family. Moses was put on a basket and was sent away in the Nile River.

Moses care about his people. Moses was on the mountain one day and God started to talk to him. God said to Moses that his people should be free and he should lead them. God kill the firstborn son if every Egyptian family and even the pharaoh own son was dead.
The pharaoh said that the Hebrews should be free.

Moses opened the red sea in half and crossed every one to the other side safely. Moses went to the mountains god spoke to him and told him the Ten Commandments.

3. The Ark of the Covenant was so important to the ancient Hebrews because the Ark of the Covenant contained the Ten Commandments. The Ark was gold.

4. History detectives argue about the building of The Great Temple of Jerusalem lead to the Jewish Diaspora because King Solomon forced Hebrews to work on constructing the Great Temple. King Solomon made Hebrews to pay taxes to buy the materials need it for the temple. Solomon made the Hebrews very mad and made them to leave. King Solomon was the one for me that began the Jewish Diaspora

B. The Jewish Diaspora is when the Jerusalem temple was destroyed and Judah fall in 597 – 586 B.C.E... Lots of Jews developed in Egypt and Babylonia.

5. Hebrews are called Jews because when Babylonians capture someone they call them “Judaeans” because of there homeland Judah. Babylonians shorted the name to Jews.

6. 1. Monotheism 2. Following God’s Law 3. Equality and Social Justice 4. The Importance of study.

• 1. Hebrews only belief in one god. Hebrew think god is close to them.

• 2. Following the Ten Commandments. Set aside a day for praying and rest = Sabbath. To honor Gods rescue of the Hebrews from Egypt.

• 3. To belief that every one is the same rights, need to obey the same laws. Care equally.

• 4. How Jews really care about learning. Rabbis are important so others can learn .how rabbis wrote there own commentaries on the torah and the Talmud.

1. I think that the greatest ancient leader member is Moses because he frees slaves from Egypt. According to the torah “ Moses talked to god” . He was faithful like Abraham, and has he gave the Judaism its fund mental laws.

2.The video talks about Moses life. He was found by the queen in the river, from that day he became to be known as Moses. He made a covenant to free the Hebrews. He went to his father asked to free the Hebrews but his father said no. God sent a plague to Egypt. Moses led the Hebrews people out of slavery. He went to the mountains were he talked to god through a threw on fire god told that to wait 3 days so he can tell moses and the Hebrews the ten commandments. Moses was a prophet for god .

3.The building of the great temple of Jerusalem is important because it was keeping the ten commandments safe in a gold chest called arc of the covenant.

4.The temple of Jerusalem was destroyed. Thousands of Hebrews were forced to live in Babylon. They were held captive for half of a century. That was the Jewish Diaspora.

5.The Babylonians called there captive “ Judeans” . After there homeland of Judah the name was later shortened to “ Jews”

6.

A. one of the world major religions

B. known as the “Jews”

C. Is a Jewish religion

D. Its recorded in the torah

The greatest leader of the hebrews was Moses.Because the Torah tels how he led his people out of slavery in Egypt. Also The Torah tells how god gave Moses 10 important laws engraved on two stone tablets. These laws became the foundation of judaism.

Moses story is one of the greatest stories of all time.Because in the movie it showed Moses freeing the slaves or another way of saying it
is freeing his people. He wanted to do that because Moses didnt like his people suffer pain by getting whipped by the guards. But some people didnt like what Moses did because if you do something bad than youll get in trouble.

The building of the great Temple is importatn to the hebrews because they have the Ten Commandments in the Great Temple to keep the Ten Commandments safe.

It lead the jewish diaspora because they attacked the great temple wall and they stoled the ten commandments.

They were called jews because the jews believe in god some of them.
