1. The Nile River helps Egypt. It helps the people of Egypt to survive because they can drink water from there. The second way it helps Egypt is by keeping them from dying because of the hot Sahara desert. Another way is because they can use the water to make foods like rice and beans.
2. Something would happen if the people destroy the Nile River, which is, that they would die because, they wouldn’t have water to drink and cook food.

3. Desertification is when the deserts grow. Mostly what cause desertification is nature, but sometimes people may too.
4. Desertification is affecting the people of the Sahel because; the Sahel is not such a bad land as the Sahara Desert, so Desertification is making it as bad as the desert.

5. Sexism is when you can’t do something because of your gender. For example some people think girls are not supposed to go to school just because they are girls. I think is important that micro-credit organizations like pro-mujer help poor women all over the world because some women need some money to start a business which could help them raise their children. Another reason is because some women are left alone with their children and they don’t have money, they don’t want to die so they need something like pro-mujer. If I were the sub-secretary of the United Nations, I would do something like pro mujer, to help the women get a job so that the girls and kids won’t have to work anymore.

6. In Rwanda, 1994, the Hutus were trying to commit genocide against the Tutsi.
7. I think what leads people to commit such a crime is the difference, for example, the American wanted all the African American out of their country just because of their raze. I think some people are born with hate and some are not. I think this because if your father is racist, when you grow you are going to think the same as him because he is your father and he teaches you things. I also think that some people are not born with hate because of the opposite ( if your father is against racism, you would learn and know what they do and he will teach about what is right).
8. Paul Rusesabagina, was helping his family, that are Tutsi, from the Hutus that wanted to commit a genocide against all Tutsi. I think he tried to stop the Hutus from killing all Tutsi. If I was him I would have done the same because he use as much money as he had to save his family. I would have the same as him because, I think If I would have been in that situation, I’ll be brave. He was really brave to do that. I say that I would’ve been really brave because if my family is in trouble and is on my hands to safe them or not, I’ll do whatever I can to safe them.

1. 3 ways the Nile River help the people of Egypt are:
a. Every year the Nile River flood so it is good news for the people because it help the crops to grow.
b. Egypt is more desert then anything else so not enough rain falls so when it flood it's good for people because they had water.
c.When the Nile River floods and the water that stays drop, a black mud remains and that mud help the soil fertilized.
So it brings them: food, water and good land.
2. If pollution were to "destroy" the Nile River Cairo would not have nearly 20 million people, I think people live there because the Nile River because there is better, there is life around, and if a place have water it have trees, too and if a place have trees it have wind.
3. Desertification is when land becomes more and more dry and then it turns into desert. The garbage and the tailing that the people throw are causing desertification.
4. Desertification is affecting the people in the Sahel by getting people sick, I mean like if the little amount of water they have is dirty insects can grow like the " dengue" and kill the people if it touch them because they don't have medicine or they don't have the money to buy it so they died.
5.a. Sexism is the discrimination between gender, for example: A woman discriminaring a men or a men discriminating a woman only because they have different gender(sex).

It is very important that micro-credit organizations help poor woman across the world because when a woman want to start a micro-enterprice they do not have the money to buy what they need to start so micro-credit organizations are there to give them money so they could buy what they need to start.

Well, if I were the newly appointed United Nations African sub-secretary for women I would buy what they need to start a micro-interprise and when they feel ready for something harder I would help them to start an interprice and everytime they need something I would help them in whatever they need and for some women who maybe want to become teachers I would put them in some special schools in other countries where proffesional people agree to teach those women to be teachers and when they are pregare I would make some schools in Africa for girls and put the women as their teachers.

In Rwanda in 1994 hutus soldiers went to the tawn where tutsis live and they start hitting them, burning their homes and killing them, Paul's family were in panic, they did not know what to do because they were afraid of that the soldiers find Paul who was a hutu and her wife who was a tutsi having a family composed by 4 children, and the sister of the wife of Paul who was tutsi, too because they could kill all of them so Paul decides to take them and the neighbors who still were alive to his hotel till he find something to do.
7. In my opinion they commit such horrible acts of violence because the discrimination, racism and sexism, some examples are: In sexism-- A male thinks he's better than women so women should died, In discrimination-- Male says that that men should died because he is poorer then him and he is wearing a jacket more expensive then his and in racism-- White women kill his own baby and throw him in the trash because he is black.
" Hasta a mi me dolio eso".
but I don't think people are born with hate because when you are born you don't know anything about the world your parents and family are the one who educates you so I think that when kids are growing up their family teach them to hate black/white people and the kids grow old thinking that and they treat the other different people bad.

Paul Rusesabagina had the braveness to protect his family who were tutsi against the hutu their own people and give everything he had to his family and give all his money to his people(his enemy) so they could live them alone, he didn't care that he was marry to a tutsi,"his enemy" and have 4 children with her, when the soldiers discovered that his family was tutsi and not hutu he did not kill his family like the soldiers told him to do, instead, he gave all the money he had to the soldiers so they were not killing them.

Paul Rusesabagina is a real hero because what he did was admirable and yes if I were him I would done the same because is my family and is my obligation to protect them till death no matter the quantity of money, doesn't matter if they kill me because if they kill me I know I died because I was protecting my family against my own people who were bad, I would give what ever I have for my family just like he did without mattering for me that my family is different then me.
