Part A: Vocabulary.
1. A census is a population survey that it taken every ten years.
2. The Sun Belt States are Georgia, Texas, and Arizona.
3. Americans do many move to the Sun Belt States because many people began to concentrate in urban areas where jobs were avalaible in factories and offices. I think that also Americans do may move to the Sun Belt States because in these States there are more works and they were paying better.
4. The exclusion laws prohibited any further immigration from China and Japan.
5. The service jobs are doctor,teacher,and the people who fixes your family's car are all engaged in service jobs.
6. The demography mean the study of the size,growth,and distribution of humans populations.
7. The baby boomers are many American couples had three or more child,but today,the large number of people born during the baby boom has swelled the ranks of Americans in 40 to 60 age group.
Part B:Immigrant and the American Dream.
8. Ithink do some immigrants do not learn english because they always working to support to his family, they think that is so dificult to learn english, and some immigrants had metal problems, or some of them are very old and cannot study because they are sick.
9. Yes I been discriminated because I speaking spanish. One day me and my little sister where in a party and us are speaking spanish and there are other children who were speaking english and me and my little sister were laughing and the children said why you don't speak english and I said to the children because I don't want to speak english and he said you are in the United States and you have to speak english or if don't speak english you never learn english.
10.Some measures or steps would I take to make sure that all immigrants learned english are they don't had better jobs,they don't had licenses of driving,and if they don't speak english they are not going to be able to defend when a people speak to they english,and for that I said that they had to speak english to obtain a lincenses of drinving,had better jobs,and to be able to speak with people that only speak english.

Exclusion laws were laws created to stop Chinese and Japanese immigrants to move to the United States. These laws were made because of racism. We will look at these laws more carefully next week.
