"LITTLE ROCK 9 FIELD TRIP"
FIRST PART: Th field trip was about to go to Boston Public Library. We saw high school students made many work arts of many students in the country, almost all the work arts were made by high school students. These work arts many of the feelings of these High School students and problems around the World and we had to choose one that like represent ourselves. Then we started to go to different rooms where we saw different movies for example: the story of Jesus Colon who wrote “Little Things Are Big” and, the story of Arn Chorn who was adopted by a minister of the United States in 1980 an who said that everybody has a story. Besides we saw what the Star of David meant in the segregation time. Then we saw the room of one of the Little Rock 9, her dress and few things more. By the way Arn Chorn was a soccer player. Then we saw one of the Little Rock 9 who gave us a speech about his life and his experiences in the Little Rock Central High School. This was a wonderful experience to go to the library and learn more about the history of the United States but to meet one of the Little Rock 9 was the best. This was the best part, well at least for me. There were many activities in the library, however the best was to meet one of the Little Rock 9 students.
SECOND PART: If I were one of the Little Rock 9 students I would have made the same decision as them. I would integrate to a white school because if there is something that I hate is the segregation or racism against to other people who is the same as everybody and I would do every thing I can to try to stop those crimes.

Part 1: the participate was about to go to Boston public libery. We saw the art of some students. We saw four movies about Jesus colon and Aron. And the field trip was about to see one of the people that went to Little Rock 9. He talks about his life, and how he feels when the people were shell at him. What caught my attention was the boy who names Aron that he plays the flute when he was 14 year old. I like the most things, it was when one of the person who went to Little Rock 9 high. Because it was exited to know one of this important person. Some persons ask him important question, and it was fun and I liked.
Part 2: If I were one of the Little Rock 9,my decision is go to the white school. I will integrate in the white school. Because I have the right to learn more, more than black schools. I have the freedom to go any school because in a white school had more education, more qualities, you can learn better.

Part 1: This field trip was, a wonderful trip, and was good to learn more things about the United States history. For instance, on March 6, 2008 we class 208 went to the Boston Public Library with Mr. Pitts-Dilley, and Ms. Johnson, we all took the train (Orange Line) to a stop close to the Public Library that was Back Bay Station, we walk not the much like 1 minute to get to the library. After we were there we went to see some pretty and beautiful paintings that students draw all over Boston to entertain ourselves before the exhibits. Then a few minutes later we had the tour. We went to 4 exhibits about the history on the 1950’s, and how cruel were white people. After we saw the whole tour we took a 30 minutes break, before talking to a Little Rock 9 person. After the 30 minutes we went to the auditorium and wait for one of the Little Rock 9 persons. He got there and talk to us about how was like to be there, and his opinion about the whole thing of segregation. And all that was for the historical part of the trip. What caught my attention a liked the most was the Jesus Colon story because of the consequences and choices he had.
Part 2 : Some people think that intergrading to a white school (Central High School) was a crazy idea but that kind of people are selfish because they are just thinking on themselves but the kind of person like me and others are thinking of making history and a change for the whole country and themselves and that history it not only would change the United States but maybe some parts of the world. I know it would be very difficult to stay there for a while of time but we got the power from all of the colored people and maybe some of the white people. So if I was one of the Little Rock 9 I would think of intergrading to Central High School.

Part One
In march 6, 2008 I had an experience very nice where I learn many histories. I went to the Boston library with my teachers and friends. When I went to school the morning everybody in my class was ready to go, I am going to admit that I was a little bet sleepy. We walk to the station to take the train “orange line” and after that we walk a little bet to get to the library. When we get there we were observing those beautiful painting that other students did with their creativity. Then we get to learn about histories that was really sad. Hear how racist people treated colored people was really sad we learn about segregation in those times for example : the story of Jesus colon, and the story of Arn but the one that caught my attention was the little rock 9 because I saw him and he tell us about how he felt when he went to the central high school and how the racist people treat him and his others friends it was so interesting hear what he thinks and I realize that most of the things that he said was true for example when he said “ Paloma when someone call you negro will you turn around to see them, no because that is not your name so people used to call me with nicknames and I didn’t listen to them I used to them I used to ignore them”. I realize that when people call you with nicknames such as stupid if that is not your name don’t listen to them and most of the time that is how fight start and like he said he was braver by ignoring them. He held in what racist people did to him and I was impress about how he keep going no matter what and that inspired me with my education. Finally the most one that I like was Little rock 9.
Part two :
If I was the little rock 9 I would choose to integrate and enter to the central high school. Colored and white people have the same ability there is no different, so why they have segregation ? The only different is the color and the physical and that doesn’t mean nothing what is matter is the intelligent. First of all, if I would go to the school is for my education , not because there is white people. Secondly I would care what others people think or say what I would care is what I want to be in my future by studying in a school that everyone should study ,with enough material and learning more. Finally, I would face with them by studying but not fighting because fighting no one get a solution and if they would use physical violence and terrorist treats on me I would keep going and not stop because that how someone show their bravery and that no matter what nothing can’t stop them from doing what they dream in the future and if I show them that am not scare of nothing or no one that is also a good strategy to stop them and being someone important in the world.
The fieldtrip was about the experience of one of the Little Rock 9. What caught my attention was the way of how that man was talking, the way he gave his speech make me think about things that are important. This man, one of the Little Rock 9, the first 9 black students that went to a white school that was segregated, was a very brave man that faced a lot of violence and a lot of discrimination. Something that I loved from the fieldtrip was all the things that people made to fight for their rights, like the little candle (that I don’t remember the name right now) that the people put at their windows and some people threw rocks to the windows to break them.
It is hard, when people that don’t know you treat you as a criminal. So in that time a lot people preferred to stay in colored school and not fight for their rights. A lot of people didn’t want to put their family at risk or that people yell at you. I preferred to fight for my rights, but the people are not guilty because they didn’t fight. It is ok to stay normal and protect your family and keep your peace. But in my opinion I would fight for my rights. I would go to the government and talk to them, and tell them that are not fair that the school have to be segregated. They have to give equal freedom to the entire citizen, besides that they must protect black student from whites because whites are the people who offend the other people that are not like them.
In my decision, what I would do is integrated to the white school because I have the right of an education and the right of having a good school. I do care that with that decision I could put my family at an enormous danger but that was one of the risk that I had to face for my liberty. One of the precautions that I had to take is try to take care of me and my family and don’t pay too much attention about what people say about me because I know who I am and I don’t need anyone to discriminate me because of my race.

Part 1:
In march 6,2008 we did a lot of things.
First than all the students who participate in the field trip were 8 graders only.
The first thing that we did was we walk to the Stony Brook Station , and then we took the
Orange line to Back bay station. After that we walk like 5 minutes to get to our destination that was Boston Public Library. Consequently the first thing that we did when we get to the Library was we saw a beautiful arts from students of different schools of the city of Boston. Moreover after that we went to different stations, where they show different histories in the pass that has to be with Segregation, racisms in others. All of then were very amazing stories but at the same time sad. In my opinion all of then are very attractive, but the one that makes me cry was the story about Aaron Chon who was adopted by a minister of the United States in 1980 an who said that everybody has a story. This made cry for many reasons, one because the way he express himself, and the story about him.( I can’t remember right now , the only thing that I remember is that when he was saying his story and he made me cry.)
Part 2:
If it was one of the Little rock 9, I will go to a white school for millions reasons.
First than all because in those times the Americans had more opportunities than the other people. Consequently the education will be better than if you go to a different schools. I understand that everybody are the same, but in their times the life is different. Moreover I understand that if I attend to a white a school they don’t going to like me but racisms is every where.Finally i have yo many things to said que ahra no me salen.

Choosing to Participate was an amazing field trip for so many reasons. First example, the field trip was segregation and it shows us about three different histories of people that have experienced segregation. Second example, the event that caught more my attention was the one of the Elizabeth Eckford because she was the one that suffered more because the people were throwing her a lot of stuff and insulting her while she only went to that school as an advantage for her so she can make a difference with the school because they were the first 9 African Americans to go to a white school. In conclusion, these are the different reasons of why I think that the field trip was great.
Second part:
If I was one of the Little Rock 9 I would chose to go to the Central High School for so many reasons. For example, I know that it would be hard because at that time there was a lot of discrimination because of race and I know that if I go there I will be discriminated. Another example, I would chose to go to Central High because a white school was more advanced than a color one. Also I would chose to go there because I can get a better education there and I will make a difference in the way in which I was black and I will go to a white school.
