The water temperature most be 80F to make the water hot and make moisture, the air you need is condenses moist so it can form clouds and precipitation, summer throw fall, Thunderstorms need moisture, hot air, and rain, the Create electricity and the storm keep getting hot air and hot water and it keeps getting stronger and bigger, then the Thunderstorms keep getting more power and is so stronger and it keeps getting hot air and water that they but it category 1, then the rate keeps going up into 5 that is the worst.

hurricane only go to the caribean sea. and hurricane are fromed is with hot water.the warm water is the source of energy for hurricanes.and the vapor go up circulate in to a cyclone. and when it have alot of hot water and then formed the hurricane but the eye of the hurricane is a very bad part that where It fall down destroit everything.and th eyewall is a big strom of water.

step 1. Hurricanes begin as tropical storms over the warm moist waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans near the equator.
step 2. As the moisture evaporates it rises until enormous amounts of heated moist air are twisted high in the atmosphere.
step 3. The winds begin to circle counterclockwise.
step 4. around the eye winds move at speeds between 74 and 200 miles per hour.
step 5. last but not least the hurricane is formed..

Jose "Pulga",

You need to re do your work. First, you need to copy and paste it to Microsoft Word. Then you have to look at the spelling mistakes and any other changes you might want to make. The bottom line is that you are trying to rush (work too fast). Take your time...

Rochely and Frank... AMAZING JOB!!!

Kenny your assignment was also amazing.

Hanny, Jean, Francy?

Ariana, Karina and Joshua your assignment is to write about a personal story of a hurricane. Ariana since hurricanes do not happen in Equador, please go to the 209 links, watch a couple of videos of Katrina and Noel (hurricanes) and then write one to two paragraphs about it.

1) not most, MUST!
Great explanation WELL DONE! I like how it all made sense and it had a great flow!

Mr. Pitts-Dilley said...

Rochely,

Don't forget to mention that the water temperature must be at least 80 degreed F.

Great job

Mr. Pitts-Dilley said...

Kenny:

Ok but when winds are at least 74 miles pre hour during a storm it is already a hurricane! Great job!

Mr. Pitts-Dilley said...

Jose,

It was better but I expect more of you! This was okay, but it is still not the level of thinking, writing and work I expect from you! Take your time next time and work at the Pulga level I expect!!!

Mr. Pitts-Dilley said...

Ariana:

Please do not write on CAPS ONLY!!!!!
What kind of natural disasters happen in Ecuador?
Spelling: Hurricane, Mexico, sEnd (money)

Great job, hurricanes are powerful disasters that hurt many people!

Mr. Pitts-Dilley said...

Jean, you describe a storm. DOn't forget that storms that keep collecting moist air from warm waters will eventually become hurricanes when the winds start going counter clock wise and wind speed reach at leat 74 MPH.

375 MPH??? That would be 4 times stronger than Katrina... level 10 (5 is the max)

Anonymous said...

ohhh ok Mr.Dilley ill keep that in mind!!

I think the hurricanes are formed by worm air the wind and rain because the last hurricane the i see it started to rain and the wind was so hard and the tree were folling down i was so scare but i want it to keep looking so fun but the tempeture gat to be 80f and i nw the hurracan will get strong more and more in to it get so big.

Mr. Pitts-Dilley said...

Francis,

You need to take more time doing your assignment. You did not mention moist air, thunderstorms or the wind speed (74 MPH) that is required for a storm to be considered a hurricane.

In the hurricane Katrina I seen the a lot of people die and a lot people was reskated of the water and that the people was enter in the water, and under the land, a lot people leave them house, and of all the people was crying because some people die of them family or that some people are lost and they can not find them.

The cars was under the water and people inside the cars that the only thing that you can see is the top of the cars in air and the rest inside the water.

I just wrote about the hurricane Katrina the went to the United States.

maestro I did your homework so i dont have to stay with you tomorrow when the other's are doing activity Ok Mr. DilleY :)

Hanny Cruz,

You did not take enough time completing your answer. You have most of the details, but not enough explanation. You need to take your time and it was supposed to be at least five complete sentences, which you did not have. You sentence about not being on detention was almost as long as your work

Karina:

"The hurricane Katrina I seen the a lot of people die and a lot people was reskated of the water"

Not reskated (SAVED)

Okay... It was a good job, but I know you can do better next time! Take your time!
