209: World Geography:
We are about to begin studying the effects of hurricanes in the Caribbean. Have you or someone you know ever been a victim of a hurricane? If not, think about Hurricane Katrina.
Yes in Dominican Republic when I was little, like 6 years old it was raining a lot my house was full of water so I needed to go so we when to high land a house that was big.
In dominicanrepublic when i was't born in 1979 agoust 31 the named of the hurricane was david. and most of the housed was maded of less them 45% of good material.
in 1979 my mom was just seven years old when there was a big huricane called david my mom and my grand perents whent into in a hall and that was the safest place inn the house and when the huricane finished my granperents house had no roof it was full of water but thanks to god my mom and grand perents nothing bad happend to them
Yes, in Puerto Rico when i was 9 yaers old i was sleeping and then my granmother said come to my house i went yo her house like two hours past and we saw the news and they said a big hurracan it comming up so we went to buy food,and other things and we closes every thing it the hurracan came i was criyen then in the morning it was every thing wet and the water was all over the place i could not go to my hose so had to wait a lot of hours.
Today I saw a video about Katrina and there was alot of people with out houses their houses were destroy by the wind, kids were missing their parents, there was so many water that it covered the houses...

No,i dont know someone that was a victim of Katrina. i did herd it was very dangerous trees,houses and buildings.... i herd it from the news (TV)
