209: Poverty (7th grade)
Background: We are studying about social and spatial inequality in Mexico City. We are looking at rural decline and extreme contrast of poverty and richness in Mexico City.
THERE ARE POOR PEOPLE BECAUSE THE HIGHT POPULETION AND THEY DON'T HAVE MONEY BECAUSE THERE ARE POOR SO THEY CAN'T PAY FOR SCHOOL, TO BE SOMETING IN EARTH LIKE A "ABOGADO" POLICE AND MAYBE IF THEY HAVE A CHIELD HIS CHIELD COULD BE A PREDIDENT OF UNITED STETE.
I think that poverty in México is because of there economy for example there are some rich people in Mexico and poor people in México. And there are people that are poor because there generation where slaves or poor and the rich people have there money because they ether got it from there family or they worked for it and went to school to become some thing in life another thing that can cause poverty is te government but they also help people but the government takes away money from the poor to make them poor and the rich people who have humongous houses of 12 to 15 rooms not like the poor who get paid .50 cents an hour and that is rich to compare to poor people
I think there are poverty because things happend like huricane katrina and more huricanes. there poverty in the states, countries,townz because strong stuff happend and sometimes there no space for more people to live in shelters or apartments and other places.
there are poor people because they dony go to school, so went they are going to get a job the cany get it because they dint go to school, so there poor peple because they only want to go home and wash T.V all they long so they dont go to the jobs, thas why people come from mexico to get a better life in united state.
I think that what cause poverty is because there is not job for the people and they dont have money to buy food and clothes and in other part make good houses.. hanny crux
One couse of poverty is people with out jobs ("have nots") also because theres some lazy people all they like is sleep, sleep sleep.. but most dont have jobs, another couse of poverty is their land, their land is not good enough to plant crops is too rocky and theres no water..to many mountains.

What do you think causes poverty?
